about

This is a cover of the classic City Pop track recorded by Soichi Noriki, with vocals from Yurie Kokubu. Released in 1983, I wanted to try merging sounds of The System (David Frank and Mic Murphy), Zapp and Roger; as well as, of course, Prince's Minneapolis Funk. Giving you this broad ecstatic sound of modern funk with an old-school style.

While this was originally intended to be a 1200 POWER project,
Shit happened and it never really saw completion afterwards.
I ended up taking what was done by the past members, Daan Demmers and S. K. Fusion. Granted I would've like a real singer on it, but then again, I couldn't make enough money to supply that.

I bought the Hatsune Miku English voice bank specifically so I could use it in this track. and I also had to sing and record some guitar parts. Kill me later.
